Southam’s MP Jeremy Wright is delighted with the news that the ancient site of Holywell Field will be saved from developers.

The MP joined campaigners last September in a “Picnic Protest” to raise awareness amongst local residents, and to sign a petition against the planning application.

Mr Wright, who from the beginning backed the campaign, said: “I am pleased that this ancient site will be preserved, and that the local residents will be able to enjoy the beautiful rural setting of this historic landmark.”
